The best mechanisms are startlingly simple, just like the most beautiful mathematical proofs. With this in mind, I am particularly proud of LoveFrom’s Red Nose. There is no sliding in the hinge- only rolling without slipping. In addition, the “rollers” naturally create the space needed for the folded paper when the nose is closed.
